I’m Angel Videyra, and my journey has been anything but ordinary. I’ve faced challenges most people can’t imagine, but every struggle has shaped me into the man I am today. Now, I use my experiences to help others transform their bodies, minds, and lives.
Growing Up Against the Odds
I was born in Kharkov, USSR, just months before the Soviet Union collapsed. My mother is Russian, and my father is from Angola—a combination that made life in Russia extremely difficult. I spent my early years in a small Russian village before moving to Moscow at 10 years old, where I was constantly reminded that I was “different.”
The 90s and early 2000s were the peak of skinhead culture in Russia, and being mixed-race meant I was always a target. Racism wasn’t just a reality—it was a daily battle for survival. At 15, my mother and I moved to London, a massive change that forced me to rebuild myself from scratch. The culture shock was intense, but I embraced it, adapted, and made this city my home.
Sports: My Path to Strength
At 11 years old, I wanted to take up boxing, but my mother had other plans—she dragged me to my first basketball practice. What started as resistance quickly turned into passion, and I dedicated myself to the game.
By 18, I was competing at an elite level, earning a place at the LeBron James Nike Camp in 2009 as one of the Top 10 Power Forwards in the UK. That journey led me to the USA, where I played NCAA basketball at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, making history as the first-ever international player in the WIAC Conference representing the UK.
When my basketball career came to an end, I turned to a new challenge—boxing. I fought for AREA 5, winning the Lafone Cup as a heavyweight boxer. Boxing has remained a core part of my life ever since—it keeps me sharp, disciplined, and always striving for more.
Mentorship & The Mission
In 2017, I started working with young people as a volunteer for the Metropolitan Custody Intervention Programme (Divert). I saw firsthand how so many young men were lost, lacking guidance, and stuck in cycles of crime and self-destruction. I knew I had to step up.
Today, I’m a Programme Manager for Divert, leading a team that helps men aged 18-25 turn their lives around. But my work doesn’t stop there—I’ve also built my own mentoring programme, focused on:
✅ Mental Therapy – Helping overcome trauma and develop a strong mindset.
✅ Physical Training – Pushing the body to its peak, building strength & confidence.
✅ Sexual Kung Fu – Mastering energy control for discipline, focus, and success.
My goal is simple: to help unlock true potential and take full control of your lives.
Breaking Barriers in Modeling
I’ve always had a passion for modeling and acting, but the industry can be ruthless. At 6’5”, I was constantly told I was “too tall” for modeling, even though I had the look and the physique brands were after.
Instead of giving up, I decided to carve my own path. Today, I’m building a strong portfolio in fitness and fashion modeling, showing that no one defines my limits but me. I want to inspire other people to step into spaces where we aren’t always expected to succeed.
The Future: A Life of Purpose
I’ve built my life around growth, discipline, and transformation, and I’m just getting started.
